So what's the difference between being a mouth piece for a campaign and being the TBF blogger? We here at The Brogan Files had a mission, a mission that had nothing to do with any campaign or person. We started The Brogan Files as a blog, we could have just as easily started out on Facebook or another social media site. We wanted to get our message out and the facts that we knew about Kris Brogan and gang so that people could make their own decisions. In no way did we want to be in your face with our message or attempt to persuade people to see it our way by intimidation.
Being a mouth piece for a campaign such as Kris Brogans fan club has is totally different in that if people don't want to read The Brogan Files they don't have to even see our page, unless the pocket rat posts it on Facebook over and over. Going on social media and continually haranguing other candidates without once supplying information as to what your campaign will bring to the table is being a mouth piece!
Not once on Facebook or their election page has anyone including Kris Brogan ever spoke to what exactly she will do to clean up North Minneapolis. Her campaign page simply says-
"I believe in this community and will use my experience as a small business owner, mother and community developer to bring much needed investment to North Minneapolis. We deserve opportunities that engage and educate our youngest residents; opportunities to keep our money local through a variety of business options; and opportunities that allow for stable housing for all of our neighbors. My vision for the Fourth Ward is a community that is inclusive, welcoming and safe- one that is thriving, moving forward and bursting with opportunity."
But we ask, "Oh yeah, how?" what will you do differently then the current administration? How will you make this happen? These seem like pretty simple questions to answers if you are running for office....so why not concentrate on answering this type of question rather then taking the low road and attacking the other candidate via your mouth pieces on Facebook? Why not put out a full page on your election page explaining how you will make this happen, what your plan is? To us it is like sitting at home screaming at the Vikings- not much comes of it!
Nothing in politics gets done over night. It can take years to even make the needed connections a politician needs to be recognized and to get major things done to better any part of a constituency. That being put out there, how does Kris Brogan, who admittedly has a failed business in north Minneapolis, admittedly has had a failed run for office in South Minneapolis, and proof shows she is not easy to work with, think she is going to bounce into the city council seat and wave a magic wand to make the North side better? Some day the north side will have no choice but to look at electing a new city council member, nobody works or lives forever and that's just the facts of life, why would Kris Brogan not work with our current city council members with some of her grand ideas to change things in the north side and make a name for herself in this way rather then making a name for herself in bankruptcy courts, failed business foreclosures, and continually selling out the homeowners in North for more and more low income housing? The facts speak for themselves when it comes to Kris Brogans past and what she has done [to] for the people of the fourth ward.
As we at The Brogan Files see it Kris Brogan has not put the right foot forward with her campaign! She started on the wrong foot by seeking the DFL nomination and claiming if she failed to do so she would step aside and then coming out still in the race! This simply reinforced the belief that Kris Brogan is not a truthful person, it showed that Kris Brogan will go to any lengths to get what she wants and not do what is right for the community! If Kris Brogan never intended to abide by the DFL nomination then why did she even seek it? Why not just announce she would run for office and stand on that platform, rather then being involved in the weeks and weeks of planning and then again announcing she would step down at the convention. Continuing to allow her mouth pieces free reign on social media sites to rip into the current council person also shows lack of what it takes to be a public official and finally, Kris Brogans little stunt with the debate for the 4th ward was the icing on the cake that Kris Brogan and gang are willing to roll in the mud of the low road every time to get what they want!
Kris Brogan is not what the north side needs to represent in the city council. Kris Brogan and gang are all mouth, they are what you pick out as an example of what not be or do in a small community and as they continue with their message that Kris Brogan is some how the victim, somehow the underdog, or somehow the best thing for north Minneapolis by their continued negative Facebook posts and attacks please ask yourself how Kris Brogan will represent all of her constituents in public with this type of behavior? Will Kris and gang make public attacks on other council members or the mayor when they don't follow her directions? It's clear the best way to determine how a person will represent us in office is by looking at how they represented themselves in the election process!
