Gr%=HI4 is the sound we here at The Brogan Files imagine is coming from Kris Brogan talking out of both sides of her mouth and her butt at the same time! A recent post on social media by Kris Brogan is a prime example!
The post was done last night, do you think Kris is reading our blog? We can only hope! Here is the start of it,
Kris Brogan: FACT: According to the City of Minneapolis’ Department of Community Planning and Economic Development, North Minneapolis has lost 30,000 residents over the past 20 years.
WOW- its a fact, Kris Brogan said it was so that must make it true???? OR has she taken another whack at taking things out of context again? You see Kris Brogan fails to tell us where this information can be found, but she just states its fact.
Can you imagine what North Minneapolis would look like today if 30,000 people left North Minneapolis with that mess of a stop light at Lyndale and Dowling? My goodness Kris the people would still be backed up to Crystal with cars loaded with mattresses and box springs! Do these numbers include the felons and other troubled tenants that reside in the low income and supportive housing that Kris Brogan has made her living selling in North Minneapolis? Its not uncommon for these type of properties to kick out tenants that re-offend or use drugs and alcohol again is it Kris?
Kris Brogan has made her living off the poor and the nonprofits building in North Minneapolis, yet continued on in another post about how awful it was that the shops on Lowery had such shoe string budgets that they couldn't afford to chip in for city garbage cans - REALLY Kris? Do you think dragging more low income and troubled offenders to North Minneapolis is going to help shop keepers build better business? Lets face it people, those in low income housing and halfway housing are not going to keep your business afloat! They are on very limited incomes from.....hummmm SSI, SSDI, and welfare. NOT THAT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT, its just a fact of LIFE! If Kris Brogan wants to build stronger businesses in North the last thing she should be doing is dragging in more buildings for Alliance and RS Eden, she should be trying to build businesses....but remember what happened when Kris and Mick Brogan threw their hat in the pizza making business....a lot of community members lost a lot of money investing that's for sure! We wonder if any of those investors are among the 30,000 that fled?
So why not sit out of the game for a bit Kris Brogan and learn a few things about business? Kris Brogans famous line is, "I've had the privilege of serving this community for many years as the co-proprietor of Papa’s"- um yeah, I had a lemonade stand once as a kid Kris and that does not make me an expert on business, in fact my lemonade stand is about as productive today as Papa's!
Because we are not members of the Facebook page Minneapolis Politics, or some others we have to rely on other residents to send us these great Kris Brogan fallacies. We mention this because our in box has been quite full as of late with all things Kris Brogan and people wanting to know what is really going on!
