We have been reading all things Kris Brogan this week as we approach the election. It is not a surprise to us that Kris Brogan continues to talk and post a lot but say nothing! Her words on policy seem shallow and empty and a perfect example came once again yesterday when Kris Started posting about the gun violence in North Minneapolis.
Kris Brogan seems capable of identifying problems and she seems capable of writing them out but if you read what is not in her posts it would be content on the "how" to solve a problem. currently Kris Brogans ideas on solving gun violence seem to either be already implemented or have been implemented and failed. There are is no new content in her ideas she posts and that's typical of Kris Brogan.
The facts are that its easy to sit back and play arm chair quarterback when called out to come up with new and different ideas Kris Brogan and her gang go on the defense and start attacking either the other posters or they attack the process of selection for endorsing a candidate. It seems to be a policy of talk and post a lot and hope nobody questions you, but if they do quick shift the focus to anything but policy!
As we have pointed out in other posts Kris Brogan tends to use out dated facts and misrepresent those facts to get her point across. Even when its pointed out to her in a public form Kris chooses to not correct her mistakes but rather keep speaking and saying the same thing in a different way. Again the problem with this type of political gaming is that if Kris Brogan did make it into office she will find out that her co-workers wont tolerate this type of juggling of facts and in the end the looser will be the North side of Minneapolis.
We also have concerns about how simplistic Kris Brogan and her cool aide drinkers seem to think government works. In several posts both by Kris and her followers its clear they believe that Kris Brogan can just plop her butt in the city council chair and wave a magic wand and all things good will happen in North Minneapolis. Kris Brogan seems to have forgotten from her time in the mayors office how one needs certain traits like getting along with others, working with people you don't care for, and the big one COMPROMISSE to get things done in government. All traits that Kris Brogan has shown over and over she is not good at! Not one of the current city council members, the mayor, or anyone from past city government has come through to endorse Kris Brogan or her campaign. This is telling in its self as some of these people will need to work with her should she pull off a win.
One last thing to note this morning is the rehashing of the fact that other candidates won't debate Kris Brogan and that every meeting for endorsing of candidates seems to get played off as inadequate or of little value only after Kris Brogan is not chosen as their candidate of choice for endorsement. One must wonder why Kris Continues to attend these endorsing meetings if she feels so strongly that they matter not? As for other candidates not wanting to debate her one must also wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that Kris Brogan has proven to be untruthful when it comes to campaign trail gatherings. By this we remind our readers that Kris Brogan and gang attended all the meetings leading up to the DFL caucus, they had just as much say in the planning as the other candidate did. They participated and paid to be a part of the DFL caucus and when Kris Brogan was asked in the caucus if she would abide by the decision of the good people who gave of their time she said she would.....she then filed to run for office basically ignoring what the people had to say, she down played the importance of the DFL caucus, and she lied! So why would any candidate who's track record is public knowledge want to debate this type of foolishness? When Kris Brogan announced she would not follow the DFL endorsement and that she filed by petition both she and her staff stated that over 200 people signed a petition and brought it to her and so she felt forced to run but later, yesterday to be exact both Kris Brogan and her staff stated on social media that Kris Brogan went out and sought those signatures on the petition...see how everything seems to change with Kris Brogan to fit her agenda at the time???
Its all of this combined that cause people to wonder why Kris Brogan wants to be a part of running the city? Is it really for the honest and upfront reason she has said it is OR is it the reason she gave another community member when she said "Mick needs health insurance and we sure need the income".
